 The Parents’ Association is an organization of Episcopal School parents which hosts events and conducts fundraising to benefit the children’s school environment. All parents are invited to participate
Primary PA events of the year include:
- The Sally Foster sale of gift wrap and accessories in September is the largest PA fundraiser. Fifty percent of every purchase goes directly to ESK.
- The Fall Festival and 5K Run Saturday, Nov. 11. The 5 K run in the morning is followed by a festival that includes inflatables, a bonfire, food and games, a band, and tons of fun and autumn activities.
- The school Talent Show in February
- The Health Fair in March, when area health professionals and parents offer displays and conduct speech, vision and hearing screenings
The Parents’ Association also helps teachers through two programs: Classroom Helpers, in which parents do prep duties for teachers like laminating, cutting out and paper work; and Faculty Appreciation Lunches, in which parents prepare lunch once a month for the school staff.
PA officers are: Amy Shumaker, President; Jalena Cooper, Secretary, and Julia Mullaney, Treasurer.
